GPS-130 Guide

Your AnyTrack GPS-130 combines an AnyTrack GPS-100 with a high energy, high capacity rechargeable battery pack in a magnetic, water & impact resistant case for long-term tracking up to 3 months. Its easy to get started; just follow the simple steps below to charge your device and log into our secure tracking system. Your GPS-130 contains the following:

  • GPS-130 Water & Impact Resistant Case
  • 3 Rechargeable High Energy Batteries
  • 6 bracket screws (22mm)
  • Wall Charger for GPS-130 High Energy Batteries
  • AnyTrack GPS-100
  • Wall Charger for AnyTrack GPS-100
  • Belt Clip for AnyTrack GPS-100
*Important: Do not remove the yellow plastic ribbon from the battery. It is used to remove the battery from the case bracket.

Quick Start

Step One: Charge your GPS-130
  • On the bottom of the device, lift back the edge of the soft plastic flap that is nearest the SET button.
  • Insert the charger into the GRAY port on the bottom of the GPS-100.
  • Plug the charger into an 110V outlet. Fully charging the device from an empty battery takes about 5 hours.
  • The RED light will stay lit to indicate the device is charging. When the device is fully charged, both the RED light and the BLUE light will be lit.
  • Unplug the device from the charger.
  • The device is automatically ON when it finishes charging.
Step Two: Charge the GPS-130 High Energy Batteries
  • Plug the high energy battery charger into a 110V outlet. Place one of the batteries into the charger, making sure that the battery contact and the charger contact touch. Do not remove the yellow plastic ribbon from the battery. It is used to remove the battery from the case brackets.
  • When the battery is charging either a solid RED light or blinking RED light will be displayed.
  • When you see a solid GREEN light or a blinking GREEN light the battery is fully charged.
  • Charge all three batteries. Each battery takes approximately two hours to charge.
*To reduce potential safety issues, use only the batteries provided.
**To reduce the risk of fire or burns, do not disassemble, crush or puncture a battery; short the external contacts on a battery; or dispose of a battery in fire or water. Do not expose a battery to temperatures above 140F or below 4F (-40 - 60C).

Step Three: Check GPS-100 Status
  • Press the SET button to check GPS-100 status. The device is on when both lights blink together.
  • If the GPS-100 HAS captured a cellular signal and is currently being tracked, the red and blue lights will blink 1 time, followed by up to 5 blinks of the blue light.
  • If the red and blue lights blink together 3 times the GPS-100 has not captured a cellular signal. Try waiting for a few minutes or changing position and then press the SET button again.
Step Four: Install Batteries & GPS-100
  • Inside the GPS-130 case there are four brackets, including one that is slightly wider than the rest. Install the extended batteries in the three narrower brackets, making sure that the contact on the battery is aligned with the contact inside the bracket, and that the yellow plastic ribbon is underneath the battery. To remove the batteries from the case, gently pull up on the yellow plastic ribbon.
  • Insert the white 2-pin connector on the end of the black and red wires inside the GPS-130 case into the white port on the bottom of the GPS-100. The side of the plug displaying the ends of the wires should face the same direction as the back of the GPS-100 (the side with the label), and should insert easily. Place the GPS-100 in the bracket, logo side up, and so the antenna is closest to the side of the case. To remove the GPS-100 from the case place the tips of two fingers on the top of the GPS-100 on either side of the antenna and gently pull upwards until the device is loosened, but do not remove completely. To detach the connector from the bottom of the GPS-100, grasp the wire as close as possible to the base of the connector and gently pull. Then completely remove the GPS-100 from the GPS-130 case.
  • If the red and blue lights blink together 3 times the GPS-100 has not captured a cellular signal. Try waiting for a few minutes or changing position and then press the SET button again.
  • Utilize the included screws and bracket, or the magnet on the bottom of the case to affix the GPS-130 to the item you plan to track. The magnet can be used for securing the case to the top or sides of an object.
*Do not use the magnet as the sole means of attachment to the underside of an object.

Step Five: Locate your device on the AnyTrack.net Control Panel
  • Your device will show on the left side of the Control Panel. The center panel is a map showing the last location of your GPS-100.
  • Select your device by clicking on it. Then click the Locate Now button. The map will update the location of your AnyTrack GPS-100. If you dont see your device, click the Center Map button (The square blue button next to Locate Now.)
*Remember: Every time you click Locate Now, you use a Locate credit.
